Little curiosity: the meaning of Corel·la, a word of Mallorcan origin. Last summer my mother told me that her grandmother, when she was little, used to tell her: Avui t’en vas de Corel·la? What does it mean: Today you are going with friends (hang out with friends)? And I thought it was a very nice word that is currently out of use. Hence the origin of the name, alluding to my family environment and the relationship of my mother’s grandmother with her. Nestled in the picturesque Tramuntana Mountains, there is a unique corner that exudes elegance and flavor. Corel·la, a gourmet grocery store in the heart of the Island of Mallorca.
