Fartàritx, the mountain sanctuary, is nestled in the majestic landscape of the Serra Tramuntana, not far from the town of Pollença. After the island was reconquered by the Christians, it belonged to the Templars for a long time, whose traces can still be found in Can Vila. The first inhabitants of Fartàritx left their mark as early as the third millennium BC in the form of burial caves, ruins and holy sites. They prepared the ground for the cultivation of various crops, especially grains and olives. Today, the extensive olive groves and fields of Fartàritx are a testament to this long agricultural tradition. Some of the olive trees that still stand in the groves today may even have their roots in pre-Templar times. Over the millennia, Fartàritx has evolved under different cultures, but has always maintained its character as a sacred site. Today Fartàritx is more than just a finca in the mountains, it is a living monument to the history and culture of Mallorca, a symbol of the harmony between man and nature and a place where the past and the future meet in a respectful way.
With our products we want to make it possible for everyone to experience the magic of this place. We have combined recipes and rituals that have emerged over thousands of years with today’s knowledge to provide access to this rich experience. Our elixirs are herbal extracts of Balearic medicinal herbs and special plants, all grown on Fartàritx, harvested and processed here and available directly without intermediaries. Our elixirs support you in different situations and concentrate the magic of this place in a small bottle. We distill some of the special plants into hydrosols. These sprays can be used as refreshment or perfume, but they are also very rich in essential oils and care for the skin in a particularly mild way. We process the buds of some plants and trees that have special healing powers into tinctures (gemmotherapy), which are administered to the organism as a spray via the mucous membranes and unfold the plants’ enormous potential in the body. Smoking rituals have been used since time immemorial to use the powers of certain herbs and plants to cleanse rooms and places. But they also work in other rituals and help to create certain moods or drive away bad vibrations. The isolated location in the mountains, the abundance of water and the fertile soil have given this place the basis for thousands of years of development. We preserve this heritage by operating exclusively organically, holistically and sustainably. Fartàritx is also energetically self-sufficient and CO2 neutral.
