At the moment the most important collection of fig trees in the world, with 3,000 fig trees of 1,346 varieties from 64 countries around the world, is located in the heart of Mallorca, at Finca Son Mut Nou.
Our real job is to recover varieties from all the collections in the world that are at risk of extinction, or disappearance. We have guided tours, personal and family, also with explanation in several languages, guided field visit, tasting of the 17 products made in the field, all of figs, for example wine, mustard, jam, dried figs, vinegar, beer, xutney, etc. all made with figs of Majorcan varieties. We have two greenhouses with field replicas of all varieties. You can come to pick figs directly from the tree, already collected or to buy product. The price ranges around five euros, depending on the type of visit.
