Nakāwe Swimwear is timeless and eco-conscious swimwear for the independent and real woman. Founded in 2019 by designer Fiona Proksh, the swimwear is made with AMNI Soul Eco® yarn from Rhodia®, the first nylon 6.6 biodegradable in the world. This material has a limited environmental impact because, after landfilling, it is turned into organic matter (biomass) and biogas which can become new resources for the environment, as well as being used for combined heat and power production.
The collections are born and designed in Mallorca, and produced in a small seamstress workshop on the island. Everything that you can see on the website, from bikinis and one-pieces swimwear to beach accessories are handcrafted in-house, from start to finish, so Nakāwe can proudly say the collections are ethically made and sustainably produced.
There is no need to say that they don’t use any type of plastic or metal closure in the designs in order to avoid causing waste to the environment.
Nakāwe Swimwear’s line features timeless and classic designs with stunning color palettes and comfort-fitting suits, so… whatever style you choose from the collection, we’re sure it will become your favorite summer essential. And in case you ever get bored with the pattern/color and decided that you don’t want to wear that piece anymore, do not panic because most of the designs are reversible as they’re fully lined with very small seams.
Become part of the Nakāwe world because we are sure we share the same values.
